Our client, a notable management company in the financial services industry, is seeking an accounting associate to join their Connecticut team!


Compensation : $100000 - $120000

Job Function:

  • Prepare quarterly and annual financial statements.
  • Preparation of annual budget as well as forecasting and variance analysis.
  • Perform accounts payable functions including reviewing, coding, and processing payments across the funds, CLOs, separately managed accounts, and management companies.
  • Reconcile and coordinate payments, respond to cash break inquiries.
  • Track and coordinate settlement of receivable balances.
  • Monitor daily bank activity and investigate cash breaks.
  • Prepare supporting schedules for tax filings (Sales & Use, CRT, 1099’s)
  • Perform administrative duties in Concur and review employee T&E expense reports.


Job Requirements:

  • 2-4+ years of relevant accounting experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
  • CPA preferred
  • Prior experience working at an investment management firm, a plus.
  • Prior experience with NetSuite, EAS IntegriDATA, Concur or Geneva, a plus.
  • Proactive, highly organized and detail oriented.
  • Knowledge of accounting and reporting processes.
  • Microsoft office applications, Excel proficiency preferred
