A rapidly growing, publicly traded Real Estate Holdings Company is looking for am ambitious Accounting Manager to join an already impressive team to help drive decision making for the business.    


Compensation : $150000 - $175000

Job Function:

  • As an Accounting Manager, you will play an integral part in the Accounting team. You will ensure compliance with evolving financial regulations, enhance our financial reporting and analysis for decision-making, and strengthen internal controls.
  • Your expertise in encompassing analysis and identifying process improvement will be instrumental in driving the company‚Äôs growth and maintaining our reputation as the market leader in the ground lease sector.
  • Research and evaluate new accounting pronouncements and their impact on the company.
  • Prepare or review technical accounting memos addressing complex topics in lease accounting and consolidation.
  • Address ad hoc requests for hypothetical transaction analysis.
  • Identify information technology to improve reporting efficiencies.
  • Work closely with accounting team to identify relevant information and key financial metrics to be included in corporate filings and obtaining those deliverables on a timely basis to meet filing deadlines.
  • Create/maintain relationships with clients' external auditors to ensure an efficient audit process.
  • Serve as a mentor and leader within the accounting team, offering guidance and support in an influential role, while not responsible for direct managerial oversight.  


Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree with a concentration in accounting
  • CPA required.
  • 6-10+ years of reporting experience within a Big 4 public accounting firm (preferably in real estate audit).
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and Word skills.
  • Ability to multitask and perform in a high energy environment.
  • Articulate with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Comprehensive understanding of current GAAP requirements.
