A successful real estate firm is looking to hire an Asset Management Associate.

Job Description:


Compensation : $75000 - $85000

  • Work with and build financial models in Argus Enterprise and Excel for the current portfolio.
  • Research and track real estate market performance and metrics – generate reports based on findings.
  • Analyze and report on financial data and create financial models.
  • Perform financial forecasting and operational metrics tracking.
  • Analyze past results, perform variance analysis, identify trends, and make recommendations for improvements.
  • Increase productivity by developing automated reporting/forecasting tools.
  • Assist in performing discount cash flow and refinancing analyses, quarterly valuations, sell/hold analyses, leasing NPV/NER, and other ad hoc requirements.
  • Perform market research, data mining, business intelligence, and valuation comps.
  • Build presentations for senior management and investors summarizing property and portfolio status.
  • Assist in the creation of the annual business plans for each asset.
  • Identify and drive process improvements, including the creation of standard and ad-hoc reports, tools, and dashboards.




Job Requirements:


 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in finance, real estate, or accounting
  • 0-3+ years of experience in commercial real estate.
  • Proficient in Argus Enterprise and Microsoft Excel
  • Understanding of real estate fundamentals and financing principles.
  • Financial modeling experience, including ability to project construction financing cash flow.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Outstanding quantitative and analytical skills.
  • Ability to abstract/interpret leases, loan documents, and partnership agreements.
