Job Function:

  • Provide daily deal support to front-office PE and Alternative Credit Deal and Portfolio Management teams.
  • Oversee day-to-day processes involved with new deal closings including pre and post transaction preparations.
  • Assist in the deal closing process from an operational perspective to ensure timely funding and accurate bookings across all platforms.
  • Manage the active pipeline of upcoming deal closings, capital calls, amendments, drawdowns, payoffs, etc.
  • Review, verify, and summarize administrative data related to new investment opportunities and dynamically track the progress of each transaction
  • Review final closing checklists and validate all tasks were correctly executed
  • Work closely with Accounting, Tax, Legal, and other groups to ensure cohesive efforts on deal closings.
  • Provide operational support for deal closings including trade bookings, data management, new asset setups, wire payments, cash and position reconciliation.
  • Participate in team projects and initiatives for process improvements.
  • Manage and optimize strategic and operational processes and workflows related to transactions.
  • Streamline new practices


Job Requirement:

  • BS degree in Finance or related degree from an accredited university
  • Minimum 2+ years of relevant operations experience supporting either private equity, private credit, bank debt, bonds, preferred equity, and other fixed income products highly desired
  • Working knowledge of WSO, Geneva, Everest/Black Mountain, and/or IVP strongly preferred
  • Proven experience interacting with investment/deal teams
  • Prior experience implementing and/or improving processes
