Publicly traded well know Asset Management firm is looking for an Associate Director, Financial Control, Treasury & Regulatory Reporting to join their team!

Compensation : $100000 - $110000

  • Prepare revenue and expense accruals, elimination and consolidation entries for multiple entities and various activities.
  • Management and tracking of cash, investments and assets under management on a corporate level.
  • Reconcile general ledger accounts, prepare analysis, and complete other monthly general ledger
  • Closing procedures within the 5-day close period.
  • Utilize general ledger accounting and reporting software to prepare monthly and quarterly management.
  • Reports, including assets under management as well as certain reports for the Fund Board of Directors.
  • Knowledge of foreign currency accounting and period-end valuation of foreign affiliates.
  • Fixed assets and cash management accounting.
  • Able to independently analyze financial data and provide explanations to management for variances between periods and business relationships.
  • Act as a key contact with internal or external auditors.
  • Contribute to the development/enhancement of internal controls.
  • Design effective and meaningful account analysis and reconciliations.
  • Identify and perform the research needed to address issues or new products/processes and work with manager as needed to resolve issues and establish new procedures.
  • Recommend process improvements to increase efficiency or analysis of financial information.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.  

Job Requirements:


 

  • Undergraduate or graduate degree in accounting, CPA preferred
  • 4 - 8 years of accounting experience in the asset management field or related financial services industry and/or public accounting.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, and the ability to effectively interact with management and individuals with varying degrees of financial knowledge.
  • Ability to multi-task, work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Demonstrate inclusive behaviors in support of a culture that values diverse perspectives
  • Organize, manage and track multiple detailed tasks and assignments with frequently changing priorities in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Demonstrate proficiency with accounting report-writing tools, as well as excel spreadsheet software (SAP and BPC preferred).
