Growing Private Equity Fund looking to add an Associate to their Fund Accounting Group, supporting their CFO in a range of Finance & Accounting Responsibilities.

Job Description:


Compensation : $95000 - $110000

Job Function:

  • Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements
  • Record journal entries and prepare supporting documentation
  • Reconcile month end balances
  • Ensure cash receipts are posted properly and timely
  • Prepare bank reconciliations and ensure they are performed timely
  • Monitor adherence to budgets
  • Perform ad-hoc duties and analyses
  • Track key debt agreement requirements and prepare covenant calculations
  • Assist with various company-wide projects to streamline operations
  • Maintain an organized and orderly filing system of all accounting documents
  • Assist with the year-end audit process
  • Assist with workpapers needed for tax filings
  • Prepare information for fund quarterly reports

 


Job Requirements:


Job Requirement:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or a related field; CPA preferred but not required
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in the accounting/finance sector (private or public accounting)
  • Private equity/fund accounting experience a plus
  • Strong working knowledge of Yardi Voyager accounting system a plus
  • Savvy with technology and advanced proficiency with MS-Office products.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
