Rapidly growing $100B+ AUM alternative investment manager seeks a bright and motivated individual to join their Management Company Accounting team to work with the Accounts Payable team primarily focusing on Vendor Onboarding.

Job Function:

  • Work directly with AP Managers and internal teams to onboard new vendors (using Workday, Asana, etc)
  • Obtain appropriate documentation from vendors and upload appropriately to ensure Compliance
  • Follow-up with internal and external teams on outstanding items to ensure timely onboarding of new vendors, and obtaining required approvals or additional documentation for business-critical vendors
  • Collaborate with AP Managers and Controllers to assist with vendor risk management
  • Review controls and documentation around vendor onboarding and periodic risk compliance
  • Use Workday to optimize usage around procurement, vendor management, and risk compliance,
  • Coordinate and communicate with vendor managers  
  • Assist with processing accounts payable invoices as needed
  • Collaborate with offshore staff dedicated to vendor onboarding efforts

Job Requirements:

  • 3+ years Accounts Payable experience - Specifically Vendor Management/Onboarding
  • Understanding of 1099, W8, and W9 forms
