Global Investment bank looking to hire an AVP to join their NYC office
Compensation : $95000 - $120000

Job Function:
- Prepare and review assigned reports in an accurate and timely manner in accordance with US GAAP
- Interact with financial accounting teams for the U.S. subsidiaries and create consolidated financial information
- Support maintenance of strong internal control in the team for sound practice and in response to the expectations of management, internal/external auditors and examiners
- Engage in ad-hoc projects in finance area
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of financial reporting requirements and provide solutions to changes in requirements and other related matters
- Solve other relevant issues that may arise on an ad-hoc basis
- The position is to support management and team members for preparation and presentation of financial reports and other reports, system automation, workflow enhancements and other ad-hoc projects, and requires advanced knowledge of/experiences in financial reporting as well as understanding of the financial industry.
Job Requirements:
- Eligible to work in the US
- Bachelor degree
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- At least 6 years of experience in financial reporting or related areas
- Experience in the financial industry is preferred
- Experience in consolidation is a plus
- Knowledge of finance, financial accounting, and financial industry
- Strong analytical and verbal/written communication skills
- Professional certification (e.g. CPA) is preferred
