Job Function:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement robust and efficient backend solutions using Java.
  • Utilize your 2-3 years of experience in AWS to architect and integrate AWS services such as Lambda functions, S3, and DynamoDB.
  • Develop server-side applications and APIs that drive the functionality of our cloud-based systems.
  • Optimize application performance, ensuring scalability and responsiveness to meet user demands.
  • Contribute to the entire software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering and design to implementation and testing.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code, following best practices and coding standards.
  • Troubleshoot and debug issues, ensuring timely resolution and minimizing system downtime.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies, cloud trends, and advancements within the AWS ecosystem.
  • Collaborate closely with DevOps teams to ensure smooth deployment and continuous integration.
  • Document technical specifications, design decisions, and architecture for future reference.
  • Maintain a strong focus on security and compliance standards, adhering to best practices.
  • Work independently and as part of a distributed team in a 100% remote work environment.


Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
  • 5+ years of professional experience as a Backend Java Developer.
  • Expertise in Java programming for backend development.
  • Strong understanding of AWS services, particularly Lambda functions, S3, and DynamoDB.
  • Solid understanding of cloud architecture and microservices.
  • Experience with server-less architecture and event-driven programming.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and deployment strategies.
  • Ability to write efficient, reliable, and scalable code.
  • Problem-solving mindset with strong analytical and debugging skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Self-motivated and able to work effectively in a remote work environment.
