WhiteCap Search is looking for a self-motivated professional to fill a fully remote Billing Specialist position at a growing management consulting firm.


Compensation : $85000 - $115000

Job Function:

  • Support the setup of new client accounts and manage our client database in NetSuite OpenAir
  • Lead accounts receivable and collections activities
  • Lead the monthly billing cycle and invoicing process including integrating data between OpenAir and QuickBooks
  • Ensure client related costs are correctly entered and recorded in OpenAir
  • Manage client communications, including responding to requests and follow-up
  • Prepare, audit, and reconcile monthly billing and payment reports generated from OpenAir and QuickBooks
  • Monthly bank reconciliations and daily posting of client payments


Job Requirements:

  • BS in Accounting, Economics, Finance, or other related field
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in client invoicing, accounts receivable and interfacing directly with clients
  • Minimum of 3 years in general accounting preferably with a small or mid-size professional services firm.
  • Proficiency in Excel and other MS Office Suite programs
  • Experience with NetSuite OpenAir strongly preferred or experience with high volume client invoicing
  • Experience submitting invoices into client portals strongly preferred
  • QuickBooks experience strongly preferred
