One of the largest credit funds in the world is looking to add a member to their Cash Management team that interacts with almost every team across all of infrastructure.  This particular team is the talent pool for the firm and after 18-24 months they expect anyone good in this role to move into other areas within the firm

Job Description:

Compensation : $75000 - $950000

  • Daily reconciliation of collateral positions and cash activity
  • Monthly/Quarterly reconciliation of cash balances with Trustees/Admins
  • Settlement of collateral with various counterparties
  • Liquidity management across all related funds
  • Process treasury activities for the Funds including investment fundings, foreign exchange transactions, swaps, banking fees, transfers between legal entities, etc.
  • Managing the opening, closing and maintenance of Fund bank accounts
  • Managing internal and external audit processes and engagement with auditors
  • Ensuring continued focus on process improvement and increased automation of activities
  • Any other duties including ad-hoc project work that may be assigned to the role holder from time to time

Job Requirements:

  • BS degree in Finance or related degree from an accredited university
  • Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in cash management or operations within financial services
  • Must be proficient in Excel (vlookup/pivots required, macro preferred)
  • Basic knowledge of treasury, debt capital markets, preferred
  • Proven track record in dealing with complex issues proactively and in a timely fashion, along with the ability to make well informed and appropriate decisions and to communicate complex information to others
  • Familiarity of Banking/Wire Systems (SWIFT/FED, etc.)
