A $20 Billion Investment Manager in NYC is looking to build out its client service and operations infrastructure. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to a brand new team and work with senior stakeholders at the firm. This Associate will be responsible for designing and implementing processes to support a growing business.

- Drive strategic projects and initiatives.
- Optimize internal and external client service.
- Provide operational support for managed account launches, complex investor transactions, and investment mandate changes.
- Work closely with the COO and other internal stakeholders on project initiatives aimed at creating automated and efficient processes.
- Handle change management processes, along with driving technology projects to build tools for reporting and analysis, streamlining workflows, and improving user experience.
- Candidates should have between five and eight years of experience in fund operations, project management, or client service roles within the financial services sector. An understanding of investor transactions, brokerage/counterparty relationships, and hedge fund accounting functions is preferred.
- We expect associates to be adept project managers, critical thinkers with good commercial judgment, and excellent written and verbal communicators with monstrated organizational and analytical skills.
- Creative problem-solving abilities, a process-oriented mindset, the ability to execute short-term tasks while managing long-term projects, and the sire to work as part of a team are all essential, as is excellent attention to tail and a proactive approach to work.
- Expertise with Microsoft Office, including Excel, is required; fluency in other tools such as Power BI is preferred.
