  • Leading planning, development, and execution of all finance activities related to the launch of new asset manager (“RAM”), a NFA/SEC registered adviser that will manage a master-feeder structure comprised of mid-frequency global trading strategies  
  • Assisting with implementation of the fund administrator for RAM, including working closely with client's accounting, middle office, and post trade teams  
  • Handling all aspects of the monthly close for RAM, including liaising with the fund administrator and booking shadow books for the funds in the internal GL system, Oracle
  • Preparing annual financial statements and ensuring the integrity of RAM’s internal financial reporting, accounting systems, and capital allocations while working directly with external auditors and administrators to produce global group audited financial statements
  • Assisting with drafting of financial policies and procedures, ensuring policies are consistent company-wide and forecasting future controls in accordance with regulatory requirements; reviewing and approving regulatory filings as needed
  • Overseeing tax compliance, and ensuring controls are in compliance with GAAP and international, federal, state, and local laws   
  • Building and maintaining strong business partnerships for cross-functional projects and decision support

Job Requirements:


 

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Finance or a related field
  • At least 4 to 6 years of experience working in the financial services / Big 4 industry including broker-dealers, exchanges, hedge funds, quantitative trading firms, and asset management firms
  • Expertise in US GAAP, IFRS; CPA or equivalent certification required  
  • The ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment and implement process improvement/change
  • Experience in managing ERP systems (e.g. Finance, HR, and other back office systems), cost allocation and billing systems, and data governance  
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Working knowledge of Oracle Cloud, Microsoft Excel, Tableau, Word, and Google Suite
