  • Prepare platform level financial statements, working closely with third party management company accounting teams who prepare property level financial statements
    • Confirm accuracy of all audited and unaudited monthly, quarterly, and annual property financial statements
    • Manage platform level payments and cash management  functions
  • Prepare quarterly, annual and any other required lender reporting including all supporting documentation and schedules
    • Oversee and manage ongoing loan agreement requirements including financial compliance, covenants and tests
  • Oversee cash flow forecasting from management companies in order to reconcile cash activity, capital expenditures and prepare platform level distributions and/or funding needs, including support and accounting for fund transfers
  • Coordinate with audit firms and associated third parties on all issues related to interim and year-end audit
  • Coordinate with tax firms on all tax related issues and manage internal processes related to tax
  • Manage platform bank account activity including overseeing bank transfers and wires
  • Evaluate and recommend initial platform setup requirements
    • Implement processes and procedures to streamline finance activity and reduce accounting & finance risk
    • Develop strategy for any software/systems requirements to meet goals of platform finance capabilities
  • Ensure that all work is routinely and accurately completed in accordance with applicable accounting standards and within required timeframes

Job Requirements:

  • BS in Accounting or Finance
  • 5+ years of experience, ideally pubic/private CPA
  • Hotel experience a must
  • Professional should exhibit experience of growth/scalability
