Established and still growing Construction / Real Estate Development company in Westchester County now seeking a talented Controller to join their collaborative and expanding team.

Compensation : $165000 - $200000

Job Function:

  • Reporting to COO and CEO, lead all accounting functions  
  • Collaborate with outside CPA firm (financial statements, etc.)  
  • Through utilization of Sage and QuickBooks - prepare reports, spreadsheets, analysis, etc.)
  • Job summary reports  
  • Weekly office and field payrolls, accuracy important
  • Oversight of daily cash (i.e. obligations, maximize interest earning, etc.) + cash projection reports  
  • Monthly close process (financials, bank account analysis, AP/AR), etc. - including WIP schedule
  • Workers Comp / General liability insurance    
  • Maintain company PEO
  • Audit lead + stales tax, payroll tax, insurance
  • Budgeting / Forecasting + variance analysis  
  • Banking relationships    

Job Requirements:

  • 5+ Years of experience  
  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related  
  • Construction experience - required  
  • Real Estate Development experience - a plus!  
  • General Contractor / Sub Contractor experience - required
  • Sage + QuickBooks software experience - highly preferred
