Customer Service Representative

WCS is looking for a customer service representative for a construction company in Lynbrook, Long Island.

Job Function:
- Answer and direct incoming calls from general contractors, plumbers, and service customers
- Connect with general contractors to create new job summaries and retain necessary information
- Close-out all completed jobs and create close-out package; ensure all packages include all necessary
documentation (i.e., warranties, manuals, Department of Health (DOH) letters etc.); accurately file and label all
close-outs – gather information from necessary parties (i.e., general contractors, plumber, draftsman etc.) - Assist Supers on night service and overtime jobs
- Coordinate material ordering for all jobs; provide necessary logistical updates to customer
- Release material and tools
- Assist with estimates by obtaining all necessary information (i.e., pricing, labor rates, scopes, and client details
- Assist in checking that plumber tickets match work tickets by checking times/schedules and coordinating with payroll to address any issues; ensure scope of job is correct by consulting with general contractor
Job Requirements:
- High School Diploma required
- 2-3 years of experience in construction/mechanical and/or trade industry
- Experience with MS Office applications
