Their Alternative Credit team has grown significantly over recent years and high caliber talent is needed to help support continued business growth, improve processes and scale operations. This position will focus on providing operational business support to specific business groups within the Direct Lending business line, as well as work on strategic projects to enhance the efficiency and scale of the operation.

 

Primary functions and responsibilities

 

  • Support the deal closing process and ensure timely funding and accurate reflection of transactions across all platforms.

  • Track pipeline of upcoming deal closings, amendments, drawdowns, payoffs, etc. and ensure all operational functions are executed in a timely manner.

  • Provide daily support to deal and portfolio management teams.

  • Provide general support for illiquid credit including trade booking support, data management, new asset setups, loan amendments, restructures, cash and position discrepancies, new fund/account launches, deal closings, etc.
  • Work closely with teams across the organization including accounting, compliance, investor relations, legal, operations, technology, 3rd party service providers, etc. and help to create a Center of Excellence for all things Direct Lending related.


Job Requirements:


 

  • BS degree from an accredited university is required

  • Minimum of 1 year of related loan operations/closing experience; General understanding of the Direct Lending business preferred

  • Experience with various types of loan facilities, including delayed draw and revolving loan facilities required

  • Knowledge of Wall Street Office (WSO), Allvue Order Management System (OMS) and/or Advent Geneva strongly preferred

  • Demonstrated ability to solve problems and interact directly with investment professionals

  • Previous experience implementing controls and improving processes

  • Self-motivated and proactive team player who takes ownership and accountability of assigned tasks

  • Excellent organization and time management skills with ability to prioritize work and function with minimal guidance

  • Effective articulation with excellent written and oral communication skills

  • Strong proficiency in MS Office applications including Excel, Word, and Outlook

  • Exceptional attention to detail
