JOB DETAILS

Job Function:

• This is an exiting leadership position with an opportunity to shape the department and service line
• Hospital-based Neurology service line focus
• Be involved in all areas of clinical care, teaching and research mission for trainees and junior faculty
• Work with other Departmental leadership to optimize inter-department clinical care, education and precepting activities
• Coordinate grand rounds, multi-disciplinary rounds
• 22 weeks of in-service clinical - supervise consultations and education and supervision of Neurology residents, PAs and med students, 6 neurohospitalists in the department
• The remaining 50% of the year is administrative and academic time to be navigated based on the incoming candidate
• Rotated week-night on-call rotation, no weekend coverage

Job Requirements:

• Board-Eligible or Certified Neurologist, subspecialty focus to be considered (Stroke, EMG, Sleep, Headache care)
• Must have leadership experience in a Neurology setting, preferably in an inpatient setting
