A well-known, Publicly Traded, Global Retailer/Apparel Company is looking to add a Director of Accounting to their team.

Compensation : $150000 - $160000

  • Managing all corporate operational accounting operations with a team of 10 people
  • Develop, implement, and monitor internal control policies, guidelines, and accounting procedures
  • Production of consolidated financial reports under USGAAP
  • Possesses extensive ERP implementation experience
  • Enhance the current accounting operations to streamline processes  
  • Supervises all inventory-related activities, including annual inventory, cycle counts, manual movements and inventory corrections
  • Partner with other departments to support financial process improvements
  • Work closely with the FP&A team, and Tax director
  • Various ad hoc responsibilities as they come from various other departments like Legal, HR, Operations, Contract Relations

Job Requirements:

  • 10+ years of relevant experience. A mix of public and private accounting experience is preferred and experience with Inventory/CPG is required.  
  • Prior managerial experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business Administration.
  • Certified Public Account (CPA) or equivalent is a plus.
  • Strong ethics, integrity, and credibility.
  • Ability to assess, recruit, mentor and train the team
  • Ability to create and promote a positive and supportive work environment
