JOB DETAILS

Job Function:

• Create/prepare financial/statistical reports for 3rd party reimbursement purposes (analytics, proper formatting w/ Medicare + Medicaid
• Works closely with State representative to obtain DSH days information and prepare allowable DSH days listing for Medicare cost report and potential appeals
• Analyz/Report on quarterly surveys re: cost reports, payment rates, etc.
• Maintain compliance with governmental regulations
• Wage Index + Occupational Mix data
• IRIS schedules for cost report
• Complete surveys to calculate Medicaid Rates
• Work closely with outside auditors
• Bad Debt Listings
• Review billing invoices for accuracy
• Monthly journal entries / Review of PIP accounts

Job Requirement:

• Hospital Experience - Required
• Strong Systems experience/skills - Required
  • ex. Axiom, Strata, Syntellis   
• Reimbursement experience within a Healthcare setting - Required  
• Failing Claims experience - Required
• Supervisor/Manager Experience - Preferred
• • This will role will have one direct report
