Top-Tier Brand Name Private Equity Fund is looking to add a Finance Leader to a newly created team as they continue to expand their business. This will play a key role in establishing reporting processes for their publicly listed pure-play asset management business.

Job Description:


Compensation : $160000 - $225000

  • Oversee and assist in the preparation of US GAAP consolidated quarterly and annual financial statements and MD&A of The Fund's publicly listed, pure-play asset manager
  • Build relationships across The Fund's businesses and functions globally to coordinate and review financial reporting deliverables
  • Prepare analyses and reports for senior management and the Board of Directors
  • Coordinate with internal and external auditors
  • Build supporting team and mentor junior staff
  • Research and document complex accounting conclusions
  • Assess current state and implement initiatives to improve financial reporting processes
  • Monitor industry and regulatory trends and best practices and develop, implement, or update Brookfield policies as needed
  • Assist with adhoc projects

Job Requirements:


 

  • Undergraduate degree in Business, Finance, or related field
  • Recognized professional accounting designation required (CPA, CA)
  • 6 years (Director) or 10 years (VP) of financial services‐related experience, with a background in public company accounting and/or auditing
  • SEC reporting experience
  • Experience in the following systems a plus – Oracle’s HFM, OneStream, Workiva
