Our client is an established Systematic Hedge Fund with $12Bil AUM. Located in midtown New York, they have more than 15 years successful track-record in systematic strategies trading in more than 100 markets globally. They are a mid-sized firm with ~50 US based employees who enjoy exceptional systems & infrastructure, comprehensive healthcare & wellness benefits, competitive compensation & many employee perks. They operate on a 3:2 Hybrid basis at present, however, most front-office team members are full-time which just enhances the Firm's collaborative environment!

Our client seeks to expand its strategies & grow its team across FI Futures,   Traditional Statistical Arbitrage and Medium-Frequency Trading across Futures, Equities, FI (non-credit)--must be fully systematized.   As part of this growth initiative, we are looking to add Portfolio Managers or small teams with a portable strategy & IP to enhance the firm's existing investment teams.  


As part of this expansion, the hired Portfolio Manager will receive an agreed allocation & be responsible for deploying their strategy to meet or surpass the agreed to performance metrics. Ideal hires will have a proven track-record running $100Mil with a high PNL and Sharpe >2.5 for US Equities. The preferred durations will be <25% of the book extending beyond 2 - 3 weeks. Some strategies requiring longer durations (ie Convergence Strategies longer biased) will be considered.


Job Requirements:

  • Proven 3+ year recent portable track-record running a systematic strategy
  • Defined investment strategy including overview of strategy, risk management, vol, P&L, Sharpe and ramp up requirements
  • Sharpe targets: Equity >2 Sharpe; FI ~1.5 Sharpe
  • Portable IP
  • Ability to work in office in NYC 3:2
  • US Work Authorization
