A prominent Broker Dealer in New York City is looking to hire an Assistant Vice President of Corporate Accounting to join its team.

Compensation : $130000 - $150000

Job Function:

  • Book monthly journal entries and conduct balance sheet and P&L analysis
  • Responsible for expense allocations and fixed asset accounting
  • Responsible for Broker Dealer accounting
  • Coordinate with internal and external auditors
  • Leverage reporting systems and other reporting tools to support ad hoc requests
  • Manage expense forecasting and budgeting
  • Perform trend analysis and account reconciliations

Job Requirements:

  • Accounting or related degree required
  • Series 99 License is a huge plus
  • 7-10 years of corporate accounting or public accounting experience in the financial services space
  • CPA license is a plus
