Job Function:

The candidate will report to the VP of Finance. Specific tasks include, but may not be limited to:

• Review fund administrator deliverables (e.g., quarterly close workpapers and investor statements, periodic capital calls and distributions, etc.)
• Manage accounts payable and related fund expense allocations
• Respond to investor queries
• Assist in the completion of the annual financial statement audit
• Review investor K-1s that are prepared by the external tax team
• Maintain organized legal document records (e.g., investment agreements, and investor subscription docs, etc.)
• Assist in updating quarterly valuations and quarterly track record deck
• Work with the partners/investment team on fundraising work and ad hoc requests
• Assist in idea generation and special projects to improve firm processes

Job Requirements:

Job Requirements:  

• Bachelor’s degree required. CPA preferred, but not required
• Experience accounting for private equity-style fund vehicles
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and workflows simultaneously, with the ability to prioritize and efficiently complete assignments
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
• Excellent Excel and other Microsoft tool skills
• High integrity, confidentiality, accountability, and motivation level
