A respected medical group is looking for a Financial Analyst to join their growing team in the Hudson Valley, NY area. This role comes with full-time hours and will be reporting to the Director of Financial Operations and is responsible for performing financial analyses on operating results and business goals.


Compensation : $34 - $42

Job Function:   

  • Prepare quarterly profit and loss statements for all divisions, including variance analysis.  

  • Prepare and enter all month-end closing entries

  • Prepare account reconciliations and compile supporting documentation.

  • Maintain labor allocations working with divisional practice directors

  • Assist in the preparation of board meeting presentations  

  • Compile and analyze ad hoc financial reports  

  • Prepare monthly and quarterly invoices for all hospital call/directorship and maintain contracts  

  • Maintain vendor contracts to ensure pricing accuracy.  

  • Assist with managing expenditures to reduce costs.  

  • Create and distribute purchasing reporting and metrics.  

  • Work with divisional practice directors on ensuring accurate inventory management.



Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance & Accounting Required.  
  • 3-5 years finance experience preferably within healthcare.  
  • Experience working within financial systems required.
  • MS Excel experience required.
