A fast growing tech company is looking to add an SEC Reporting Manager to their accounting team.

Job Description:


Compensation : $115000 - $130000

  • Preparation and coordination of SEC 10-Q/K filings including preparing and reviewing all financial statements, footnotes and MD&A
  • Preparation of Press Release and other Board materials
  • Assist in technical accounting research and analysis
  • Prepare quarterly and annual GAAP and SEC disclosure checklists
  • Prepare quarterly close workpapers and analysis for input into the financial statements – Areas include but are not limited to: Stock-based compensation, Equity, Deferred acquisition consideration, Redeemable noncontrolling interests, Earnings per share, Goodwill impairment, Purchase accounting, and purchases on noncontrolling interests
  • Liaise with internal and external auditors  
  • Maintain internal controls for reporting processes and SEC filings

Job Requirements:


 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
  • CPA or parts passed
  • 3-5+ years; prior audit experience and public accounting background strongly preferred
  • Experience with US GAAP and Accounting Standards
  • Experience with internal controls (SOX 404)
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • Excellent communications & interpersonal skills to work with all levels of personnel - including Executive Management
  • Excellent writing skills and experience writing technical accounting memoranda
  • Excellent time management skills
