A $60 Billion Alternative Asset Manager is looking for an Associate to join its Business Development group in New York City. This Associate will support the fundraising efforts of a five-person team that covers institutional client relationships across the US.

  • Assisting in the preparation of investor-related marketing materials, as well as ongoing investor updates and reporting
  • Developing and maintaining analytical material related to fundraising efforts across a variety of mediums; reviewing extensive data and distilling into concise and relevant points in a user-friendly format
  • Guiding investors through fund due diligence processes, including completing diligence requests (i.e. DDQs, RFPs, RFIs), handling relevant follow-up, coordinating investment and operational due diligence meetings and liaising with various teams within the organization
  • Developing a strong knowledge of the team’s strategies, investment approach, and operational/support functions to effectively respond to prospective investor requests

Job Requirements:


  • Excellent organization and time management skills to succeed in a high-pressure and fast-paced environment
  • Ability to take ownership and work independently, as well as on a team
  • Interest across the spectrum of active alternative asset classes, including both systematic and discretionary public equity and fixed income (long-only and hedge funds), managed futures, private credit, and real estate
  • Up-to-date knowledge of regulatory matters and adherence to procedure
  • Successful completion of all qualifications, licenses, tests and other requirements required by any regulatory authorities (Series 7, 3, 63)
