Growing structured credit fund is looking to hire for a Funds Treasury role that will bring a trading mentality to the platform in order to reduce cash drag while maximizing returns.  

Job Description:


Compensation : $100000 - $130000
Job ID : 13933

  • Making business decisions regarding investing or distributing unencumbered cash, taking into account how it interacts with potential foreign exchange margin or settlement requirements
  • Taking risk, within tightly defined parameters
  • Calculating deviations from covered interest parity to decide whether to convert cash from one currency to another
  • Exercising creativity to find new tools and approaches to cash management
  • Negotiating terms with banks
  • Designing a system to track components of cash drag
  • Documenting policies  

Job Requirements:


  • BS degree in Finance or related degree from an accredited university;
  • 3-5 years of relevant industry experience out of another hedge fund or asset manager preferably with cash management or middle office experience.
  • An appreciation/understanding of financial reporting and accounting
  • Prior experience with negotiations of leverage facilities with banks and ISDA agreements with counterparties preferred but not required
  • Familiarity w/ investment/trading unencumbered cash preferred but not required as well as an understanding of settlements
