Global Consumer Products Company with close to $1Billion in revenue is looking to add a Global Accounts Payable Manager to their Accounting team.

Compensation : $115000 - $130000

Job Function:

 

Based in Nassau County, and reporting directly to the Global Controller, the Global AP Manager will:

  • Ensure timely and accurate payment of invoices and professional response to vendor payment inquiries.
  • Proactively identify key trends and variances impacting cash flow, clean books, and vendor service.
  • Develop and implement policies, procedures, and controls for the AP function.
  • Increase the efficiency of the automation process (Oracle).
  • Supervise a team of 6 direct reports. Mentor, train, and develop the team.
  • Alert executive management to irregularities, trends, and areas of concern with supplier payments and cash flow.

Job Requirements:


Job Requirements:  

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 10+ years of progressive Accounts Payable experience with at least 3 years in a supervisory capacity.
  • Experience working in a Product oriented company is required.
  • International AP experience is required.
  • Technologically savvy with extensive ERP system experience; SAP or Oracle experience is a plus.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; advanced in Excel.
