A prominent multi-strategy hedge fund is looking to hire a GP Controller to build out its GP Accounting division.

Job Description:


Compensation : $140000 - $175000
Job ID : 17365

Job Function:

  • Work with Fund accounting teams and administrator on quarterly reporting process
  • Work with Fund accounting on capital calls and distributions for GP participants
  • Generate and review combined GP statements
  • Manage ad-hoc requests from Partners and for the management company
  • Liaise with outside banks on GP leverage facilities
  • Work with technology team to enhance reporting capabilities
  • Track point allocations in system for each deal
  • Liaise with HR for points change including new awards, vesting calculations, forfeitures, etc

Job Requirements:


Job Requirements:

  • Accounting degree required
  • 6-10 years of GP Accounting or relative public accounting experience
  • CPA is a plus
