A Pioneer in the FinTech industry is looking for an SVP Head of Enterprise Risk Management to lead their ERM function reporting into the CRO.

Job Function:

  • As the second line of defense, provide thought leadership to the first line of defense for risk related matters.
  • Build, maintain and enhance business relations with department and business heads for the smooth implementation of risk management activities across the organization.
  • Represent the Company at the internal and external risk committees and to the Regulators, to provide periodic updates on risk matters.
  • Maintain the ERM Framework and ensure the organization’s risk management policies and strategies are in compliance with the Company’s Business Strategy and Risk Appetite.
  • Lead the ERM team in identifying, assessing, monitoring, communicating, and reporting risk profiles and matters to the applicable stakeholders.
  • Ensure the Company’s Risk Culture is positively impacted through effective risk training and risk tools.
  • Monitor and analyze risks within the Company’s business units and report on these risks to the internal and external risk committees of the Company, Regulators and other applicable stakeholders.
  • Business subject matter expert for the designing and implementation of the RSA Archer GRC solution within the Company.
  • Manage and develop junior team members and manage consultants as applicable.
  • Support the Chief Risk Officer in implementing Risk Office goals for the Company.
  • Work successfully in a collaborative and team-oriented environment which encourages diversity of thought and open debate of ideas, must possess sound judgment and have the ability to function in a respectful manner.

Job Requirements:


Job Requirement:

  • 20-25 years of risk management experience with 5+ years in a leadership role  
  • Financial services/Fintech industry experience managing and implementing enterprise-wide projects
  • 10 to 12 years of financial services work experience managing and implementing enterprise-wide projects, multi-tasking on projects with competing priorities, Process restructuring, Risk Assessment, Due Diligence, and Operational Risk Management.
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills with the ability to communicate to both technical and non-technical audiences internally and externally.
  • Solid presentation skills with the ability to explain complex, detailed topics to senior management, when necessary to progress on a single development path.
  • Proven experience in developing and implementing an ERM framework in a dynamic and complex organization.
  • Self-motivated, self-sufficient individual who can make independent decisions within the framework of business guidelines, tactics, and strategies.
  • Strong critical thinking skills with the ability to evaluate a business problem, identify multiple functional solutions, present a cost-basis analysis of each potential solution and make a recommendation base on analysis.
  • Understanding of the financial regulatory environment for the banking and payment systems industry
