A $150B Global Investment Manager is looking for a Head of Compliance in the New York office!

Compensation : $250000 - $275000

This person will operate as the CCO for their US Asset Management business, implementing and executing a strategic vision for the Compliance function, and partnering with business heads internally to advise on Compliance topics. This role will come in as a leader within the organization as they continue to grow the Americas group.


Job Requirements:


 

  • Demonstrate a comprehensive awareness of the Financial Services regulatory environment with particular emphasis on all jurisdictions relevant to the FSI US’s business.
  • Possess gravitas, maturity and credibility to build and develop relationships with key stakeholders and clients both internal and external both at Board level and senior management.
  • Demonstrable experience (15 years+) in the management of a compliance function in the investment management industry possessing the requisite knowledge of the appropriate regulatory and governance issues; have acted in an advisory capacity at all levels of management and staff on the practical implementation of regulatory issues and requirements that affect investment functions.
  • Experience with funds across various asset classes (including direct infrastructure, equities, fixed income, credit, cash etc.) is a pre-requisite.
  • Demonstrable change leadership experience; an awareness of the evolving strategic risk and regulatory issues facing the funds management business in the US and understand how to align the compliance team in support of the resultant change.
