Our client, a leading $40baum investment firm, is seeking to hire a Senior Paralegal for their Regulatory and International team in NYC!

Compensation : $90000 - $100000

Job Function:

  • Assist with set up, launch, drafting, recordkeeping and routine regulatory filings for international affiliates and international funds
  • Work with outside counsel on registration of funds in foreign jurisdictions and documentation of fund distribution arrangements
  • Respond to due diligence and AML requests
  • Assist with review of marketing materials
  • Support attorneys in preparing (electronic and occasionally physical) board materials for quarterly board meetings of affiliate and European funds, assist in running the board meetings and drafting minutes
  • Review routine vendor contracts and maintain contract recordkeeping system
  • Managing and reviewing privacy related documents and recordkeeping
  • Support special projects and initiatives in a principal capacity
  • Recordkeeping, electronic and paper document and file management, maintenance and oversight of mailboxes, invoice processing, and calendar management



Job Requirements:

  • Undergraduate degree required
  • 2+ years of paralegal experience in-house or top AmLaw
  • Ability to lead meetings and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong analytical, project management, communication, and people skills
  • Demonstrates inclusive behaviors in support of a culture that values diverse perspectives
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and an ability to quickly learn new databases/programs
  • Fund experience at a law firm or in-house
  • Investment management experience at a law firm or in-house
  • Regulatory experience at a law firm or in-house
  • Paralegal experience in an international firm
