An award winning technology & consumer investment bank is looking for an Investment Banking Analyst to join their team!   

Job Description:

Compensation : $90000 - $160000

  • Assist with the origination and execution of M&A and private placement transactions; manage key working streams of transactions in a flawless and efficient manner
  • Perform valuation analyses using various methodologies including discounted cash flow, leveraged buyout, trading comparables and transaction comparables
  • Preparation of marketing materials and client presentations including but not limited to; pitchbooks, valuation materials, confidential information memorandums, management presentations etc
  • Develop financial and operating models, as well as valuation analysis in Microsoft Excel
  • Assist with due diligence process
  • Extensive company and industry analyses (trends, M&A, buyer analysis etc.)
  • Collaborate with global Drake Star offices to support the origination and execution of cross border transactions

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 0-3 years of relevant work or internship experience within a TMC team of an investment bank
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy in work product
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Outstanding analytical, organizational skills and proven self-starter
  • Ability to exercise sound judgement, make informed decisions and act independently
  • Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Strong project management skills
  • Ability to manage rapid timelines and proactively manage any potential conflicts
  • Deep passion for the broader technology sector
