Investment Banking Analyst
Job Function:
Analysts work in focused three to six person teams on M&A, private equity recapitalization, capital raising, and strategic advisory engagements. The lean deal teams provide an excellent opportunity for senior-level banker interaction and client exposure, as well as immediate “hands-on” experience. The Analyst role provides broad experience across multiple sectors and all stages of transaction execution from pitch phase through closing. This is a potential career track position. Many Analysts have been promoted to Associate to VP
- Preparing financial models and valuation of private and public companies
- Creating offering memoranda, preparing internal committee memoranda, and creating client “pitch books”, management and board presentations
- Managing client due diligence processes
Job Requirement:
- A significant amount of effort, diligence and initiative is required to properly execute assignments
- The complexity of clients’ financial requirements coupled with the intense competitiveness of the investment banking industry necessitates a full commitment to the task at hand
- 0 - 2 years’ work experience in Investment Banking
- Bachelors or Masters Degree in Business, Finance, Math, Engineering, Economics, Science or Technology
- Proven record of outstanding achievement in academic and extracurricular activities
- Strong quantitative skills focused on financial analysis, accounting and financial theory
