A $6Bil AUM, New York based credit fund established ~20 years ago is looking to hire a team-oriented seasoned Investor Relations Professional to be part of an established Marketing team. This is a pure IR role and so, little to no travel is required. The role remains on a hybrid 3:2 model and requires full vaccination. They have a team of approximately 100 professionals in New York and London. There performance has consistently, since its inception, out performed the index and most of their peers.

  • Responding to investor inquiries on topics which can range from reporting, performance, fund documents/guidelines and investment-related queries
  • Facilitating fund capital activity including subscriptions, redemptions, and transfers; reviewing and tracking documentation from investors while liaising with both internal and external teams to process in a timely manner
  • Completing frequent investor reporting requests including due diligence questionnaires, risk/portfolio statistics,  RFPs etc.; leveraging internal databases and liaising with accounting, risk and compliance teams to source responses
  • Distributing monthly/quarterly estimates, statements, capital calls/distribution notices and audit confirmations
  • Liaising with fund administrator, and internal middle/back office, treasury, legal, and compliance teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery of investor correspondence and reporting
  • Coordinating  the collection and analysis of key metrics across multiple internal teams and external resources
  • Assisting  in the development, preparation, and  updates  of risk reports,  fact sheets, DDQs and investor presentation materials
  • Coordinating  with and supporting the  marketing team in dealing with new product development, existing client  relationships  and prospective investors
  • Maintaining and updating CRM
  • Coordinating investor calls and webinars
  • Update information in external databases

Job Requirements:


 

  • Bachelor’s degree with at least 4 years of financial services experience –   fund administration, fund operations, or fund accounting experience is preferred
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Extremely organized and detail oriented
  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize among many time-sensitive demands
  • Positive attitude and team player with the ability to forge relationships across the firm
  • Comfortable interacting with individuals at all levels, both internally and with clients
  • Backstop and Intralinks experience is a plus
