Rapidly growing $80B AUM (as of February 2022) alternative investment manager seeks light (1-3 year) experience accountant to join its corporate accounting team in New York.  


Compensation : $80000 - $90000

Job Function:

  • Work closely with controllers and external auditors through the preparation and execution of financial statements
  • Rollforwards and analysis of key account balances on a monthly basis
  • Prepare various forecasts and ad hoc analysis on an as needed basis
  • Enhance and automate reporting capabilities of company’s general ledger


Job Requirements:

  • 1 to 3 years experience
  • CPA license preferred
  • Either Big 4 / Global 6 public accounting firm experience preferred (includes BDO, RSM, Grant Thornton) and/or in house experience
  • Financial services industry experience, specifically asset management, preferred
  • Experience with Workday general ledger and/or Workiva a plus
