An established law firm founded more than 30 years ago and is a well-known class-action, personal injury law firm. They're headquartered in Manhattan with offices in Miami, LA, Detroit, Long Island and NJ.  There are ~450 employees of the Firm across legal, infrastructure, marketing, finance, technology & operations.

To ensure success, our client is looking for a strong digital marketing & media professional with proven experience driving our Client's digital presence utilizing innovative tools and programs, competitive intelligence, primary & market research to drive their market share and new business through direct marketing/digital initiatives.

An outstanding candidate will be someone whose can leverage their expertise translating enhanced brand awareness to drive business development. This hire will have experience in developing direct marketing programs to drive traffic to websites & call centers.  This hire will be highly collaborative working across our client's departments to get ahead of internal and external issues to ensure the highest yields from direct marketing business development efforts.    

The ideal candidate will come from either a corporate or agency background with a strong track-record in digital marketing & media. This hire will have a minimum of 5 years industry experience--background in legal a plus. This role will work in conjunction with 3 - 4 other marketing professionals and report into the COO.   

 

 

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Designing and developing the firm’s global digital marketing strategy, including the definition of requirements and tasks
  • Overseeing overarching branding, advertising, and promotional campaigns
  • Deploy integrated direct & digital marketing campaigns to increase brand awareness & generate business development leads
  • Evaluate & optimize marketing and pricing strategies
  • Analyzing market trends and prepare forecasts reports for management
  • Lead development of content and format of the Firm’s new website
  • Managing the firm’s SEO strategy, developing, and implementing processes for tracking/tagging content to ensure the digital experience strategy is implemented effectively
  • Build keyword research, strategy, taxonomy, paid for digital marketing, and social media campaigns, among other activities
  • Optimize user funnels by developing real-time analytics reporting and working closely with attorneys to identify qualified clients
  • Manage vendor relationships, including staying up to date with the latest technological developments and benchmarking their performance
  • Identify trends and industry insights to allocate and optimize funds spent
  • Coordinate project kick-offs and write briefs for new freelance requests or case types
  • Responsible for the communication of progress of specific projects reporting metrics (ROI and KPIs)
  • Working closely with the Call Center to obtain performance of marketing campaigns and align resources to avoid bottlenecks and quickly fix what isn’t working
  • Plan and execute on the redevelopment of firms website

Job Requirements:


 

  • Minimum of 3 years experience leading a digital marketing & media campaign
  • Agency or corporate experience with legal experience a plus
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university preferably with a marketing, design or media & communications degree
  • Experience developing & implementing cross-media marketing strategies
  • Direct Marketing expertise including Call Center experience including scripting
  • Website design & development experience
  • Ability with developing and ultimately presenting tracking & trending analysis
  • Experience working with Agencies & Media Buying Firms
  • Excellent written & oral communications skills
  • Passionate about marketing  
  • Extreme attention to detail
  • Committed to top standards of professional ethics & standards
  • Strong MSO skills with particular expertise in Excel & Power Point
  • 5 days in office required as is COVID vaccination & booster status
