JOB DETAILS

Job Function:

• Program Director will oversee the combined Internal Medicine and Preventive Medicine residency program  
• 70% teaching and administration, 30% clinical work as a hospitalist
• Must cultivate and maintain a thriving education environment for learning and professional development of residents and faculty
• Ensure continuing accreditation of the program by complying with ACGME
• Eligible for academic appointment at local medical schools  

Job Requirements:

• CT State license, DEA, CSR (active or applied preferred) but not required
• Residency training in Internal Medicine and Preventive Medicine
• Board certification in Internal Medicine and Preventive Medicine required
• 5+ years of clinical experience
• 3+ years of administrative or teaching experience preferred
• Demonstrated experience in clinical education and leadership preferred
