Top academic hospital in Brooklyn looking for Physician Assistants to work in an Oncology-Hematology role for outpatient cancer center.

Compensation : $100000 - $145000

Job Function:

  • Department currently has 13 PA's and 13 physicians
  • This group of PAs has lots of longevity most have been with department long term - supportive environment for someone with or without experience  
  • Strong NP leader has been with organization 20+ years
  • Desirable 9am-5pm schedule, no weekends or late nights, all work done out of outpatient cancer center  
  • Outpatient only, doctors do hospital rounds, PAs are based in office which also has 26 bed infusion unit (PAs don't do infusions, have nursing staff to cover)
  • Paired with a physician, together will see patients 3 days out of the week, 1 admin day, and one day of PAs working independently seeing patients on their own (PA on own will probably only see around 10 patients per day)

Job Requirements:


Job Requirement:

  • Training as a Physician Assistant
  • Board Certification
  • NY License required
  • Ideally 1+ year experience in Oncology but willing to look at new graduates
