A long-standing, 1000-person asset management firm is seeking to hire a Paralegal to join their team of eight. This is a great opportunity for cross business functionality in a complex financial institution. 

Job Description:


Compensation : $105000 - $120000

  • Maintain legal files, including documentation and related correspondence for return/destroy requests; assist with internal and external document databases and record keeping
  • Oversee firm’s document management, processing and recordkeeping, including NDAs, Release Letters
  • Assist in assessing current and future applicable legal and compliance developments
  • Liaise with internal and external counsel on anti-trust matters
  • Coordinate with outside counsel the creation of standard organizational formation documents
  • Assist in oversight of regulatory filings and periodic reporting
  • Develop and support corporate governance
  • Assist with diligence, audit and other projects on an as needed basis

Job Requirements:


  • 3-5 years working as a paralegal  or document manager in an alternative asset manager, bank or similar institution
  • Highly organized and detail oriented with the ability to manage documents from multiple sources. multi-task and prioritize
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Must work well independently, be self-motivated - follow-up and follow-through skills essential
  • Must be open to supporting all members of trading, legal and operations teams
  • Ability to remain focused and flexible to address changes in work requirements
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of applications
