Our client is seeking a Payroll and Accounting Specialist with a can-do attitude and great phone etiquette. Their ideal candidate has experience in ADP and PEO systems, as well as extensive knowledge of Microsoft Excel. Competitive salary and benefits are offered for this position as well as a hybrid schedule: 3 days on-site, 2 days remote!

Job Function:

  • Multi-Payroll Processing: Efficiently process multiple payroll schedules for different employee groups, ensuring accuracy and adherence to timelines.
  • PEO System Management: Utilize Professional Employer Organization (PEO) systems effectively for payroll processing, leveraging their capabilities for optimal results.
  • Accounts Payable Support: Assist with accounts payable tasks, including invoice processing, payment execution, and vendor communications.
  • Compliance and Reporting: Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local payroll and tax laws. Prepare and manage payroll reports and flings.
  • Record Maintenance: Keep detailed and organized records of payroll activities, timesheets, leave balances, and A/P transactions.
  • Employee Assistance: Address and resolve employee inquiries related to payroll and A/P matters promptly and accurately.
  • Audits and Reconciliations: Perform regular audits of payroll and A/P processes to ensure accuracy, making adjustments as needed.

Job Requirements:

  • 3+ years of payroll experience preferably in a healthcare setting but not required
  • ADP experience is required  
  • Experience supporting Accounts Payable is a huge plus.  
  • Familiarity with PEO systems and multi payroll environments is a plus.
