Job Description:
The primary responsibility include real-time monitoring & forecasting based on the portfolios’ positions, performance attributions, overnight liquidity and then identifying relative value opportunities. You would also help develop scalable portfolio tools to enhance investment decisions. This role requires a collaborative mind-set in a professional who is also capable of being mission focused on solo projects.
Specifics:
- Overnight reporting on all of the Fund’s vehicles & strategies
- Help prepare presentations & marketing materials for both internal & external stakeholders including senior management, internal committees & investors
- Develop & maintain real-time tools for portfolio monitoring across risk, liquidity, performance metrics & forecasting
Job Requirements:
- 3 – 5 years’ experience at Buy-Side institution preferably working in a Fund, Asset Manager in a portfolio management role
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university preferably with a strong STEM quantitative background
- CFA strongly preferred; FRM an added plus
- Knowledgeable of Fixed Income Products importantly, structured credit, corporate debt, loans and hedging instruments
- Understanding of portfolio construction & core investment concepts
- Expertise in Excel/VBA and PowerPoint
- Familiarity with data science languages ie, Python, SQL, R
- Excellent communication skills—written & oral as
- Highly organized and good problem-solving skills are keys to success
