One of the most respected investment firms who has built out one of the consistently, top-performing systematic & computer-driven trading Hedge Funds is seeking a Hedge Fund Quant Analyst. These strategies span asset classes (EQTY, FI, Fx, CD, FDRs) and trade globally. Key to our Client's success has been their rigorous approach to research & their ability to leverage it to identify market opportunities utilizing a vast array of data resources.
Compensation : $120000 - $150000

- Conduct quantitative research focused on statistical & predictive financial modeling
- Manage research process, including methodology selection, data collection & analysis, prototyping, back-testing, and performance monitoring
- Evaluate new datasets for alpha potential
- Implement models in C++ & Python
- Monitor trading process
- Contribute to the improvement & enhancement of the Fund's trading system
- PhD in Finance/Financial Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Engineering or other STEM or quantitative curriculum
- 0-3 years of experience in a quantitative research role
- Expertise in C++ & Python
- Proven analytical & quantitative skills and mindset
- Able to conduct independent research utilizing large multi-source data sets
- Detail-oriented taking ownership for your work both individually and as it relates and impacts the greater team--across portfolio, data, quant, et al
