A large academic hospital in NYC is seeking a diagnostic radiologist to join a busy department.  

Job Description:


Compensation : $350000 - $425000

  • Join department of four in the general radiology department (breast imaging is separate dept)  
  • Monday-Friday schedule typically 8-4/5pm with no nights, weekends or call required
  • Would like person to be comfortable reading X-Rays, Ultrasound, CTs, PET Scans and MRI (department has interventional trained radiologists already, not as high of a need but if have that training would participate in a 1:4 interventional call for emergencies)
  • Current radiologists typically doing anywhere from 100-200 reads a day at this busy 450-bed hospital
  • Have contract with outside group that covers all cases from 5pm-7am so won't be required to take call
  • Hospital does not have radiology residency but opportunities exist to teach medical students and residents within surgery, internal medicine, and emergency medicine

Job Requirements:


 

  • Residency Training in Diagnostic Radiology Required
  • (Subspecialties to be considered)
  • Board Eligibility/Board Certification Required
  • NY License Required
