Our financial services client is seeking an RFP Writer to join the RFP group as a Consultant for a period of at least 6 months, assisting in the completion of institutional and retail Requests for Proposals (“RFPs”), Requests for Information (“RFIs”), Due Diligence Questionnaires (“DDQs”), and Institutional Consultant Databases. This role will work closely with many departments to ensure that all responses are compelling, accurate and completed on a timely basis.

Job Function:

  • Manages the coordination and timely completion of RFPs, RFIs and DDQs – including compiling existing language, creating new language as needed, and reviewing documents to ensure high quality, error-free final responses
  • Builds a thorough understanding of the Firm's products and investment strategies to facilitate the accurate and consistent creation of proposals
  • Works confidently with financial data and spreadsheets
  • Collaborates closely with sales and relationship management teams to promptly respond to client-driven requests; works closely with subject matter experts from across the organization, including the compliance, legal, operations, and finance departments, to write and edit standard and/or customize language
  • Reviews, proofreads, and checks qualitative and quantitative content for accuracy, including questionnaires and industry databases
  • Edit existing RFP language for improvements
  • Working with subject matter experts in crafting new RFP responses



Job Requirements:

  • Undergraduate degree required
  • 2-10 years of relevant experience in financial services (ideally in asset management for relevant terminology, etc.), including time on new business proposal (RFP) writing, editing, collaborative writing, and/or project management
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel required
  • Strong editorial judgement
