WCS Healthcare is currently seeking a Med Surg nurse for a prestigious hospital in Utica, NY. This position is a full time, night shift position offering highly competitive pay and benefits!  


Compensation : $65 - $65

Job Function:

  • Administering medication as needed  
  • Monitoring vital signs  
  • Working directly with patients before and after they complete surgical procedure  
  • Inputting and maintaining patient records into EMR systems  


Job Requirements:

  • Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
  • Current New York State RN license (or willingness to obtain)
  • 1-2 years of acute care experience in this specialty
  • BLS certification from the American Heart Association
  • ACLS
  • NIHSS certification preferred
