JOB DETAILS

Job Function:  

• Records all care information concisely, accurately and completely, in a timely manner, in the facility EMR       
• Preps operating room for patient/procedure and assists other staff in breaking down the room       
• Assessing, planning, and implementing the nursing care patients receive before, during and after surgery  
• Assists in positioning, responding to comfort/safety of patient       
• Provides for accurate care and handling of specimens       
• Initiates corrective actions whenever needed     

Job Requirements:  

• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)    
• Current MA State Registered Nurse License  
• 2 years of  experience in this specialty  
• Basic Life Support (BLS) through the American Heart Association  
• Must be able to scrub and circulate
• Will float to Ambulatory Surgery Center as needed (located at 620 Washington St., Winchester MA)
• Ortho (must be able to scrub), spine and vascular experience desired
• Previous travel experience preferred
