JOB DETAILS

Job Function:  

• Creating and implementing nursing policies to foster a positive and organized work environment while planning, prioritizing and assigning health care tasks to clinical support team members  
• Managing medication schedules and ensuring communication with the medical team to avoid medication errors  
• Encouraging all staff to adhere to the highest standards in patient care and conducting regular staff reviews  
• Maintaining knowledge of current trends in nursing and ambulatory care and educating teams  
• Communicating with patients and their family members as needed, and offering emotional support and compassionate care to patients and families in distress  
• Assessing, processing and discharging patients  
• Managing patient and employee records with a focus on following
• HIPAA regulations and quality standards  
• Providing a direct line of communication between patients, nursing staff and physicians  

Job Requirements:  

• Have at least a Bachelor’s degree in health care  
• Possess a  nursing license  as required by local and state laws  
• At least three years of clinical experience  
• A demonstrated ability to provide consistent quality patient care with a keen eye for detail, organizational skills and effective time management
• Experience instructing clinical support employees on proper treatment procedures  
• A positive attitude and a propensity for leadership and team-building with the ability to problem-solve under pressure
