WCS Healthcare is currently seeking Nurse Supervisor for a contract assignment at a Prestigious Hospital System in NYC.
Compensation : $85 - $90

Job Function:
- Creating and implementing nursing policies to foster a positive and organized work environment while planning, prioritizing and assigning health care tasks to clinical support team members
- Managing medication schedules and ensuring communication with the medical team to avoid medication errors
- Encouraging all staff to adhere to the highest standards in patient care and conducting regular staff reviews
- Maintaining knowledge of current trends in nursing and ambulatory care and educating teams
- Communicating with patients and their family members as needed, and offering emotional support and compassionate care to patients and families in distress
- Assessing, processing and discharging patients
- Managing patient and employee records with a focus on following
- HIPAA regulations and quality standards
- Providing a direct line of communication between patients, nursing staff and physicians
Job Requirements:
- Have at least a Bachelor’s degree in health care
- Possess a nursing license as required by local and state laws
- At least three years of clinical experience
- A demonstrated ability to provide consistent quality patient care with a keen eye for detail, organizational skills and effective time management
- Experience instructing clinical support employees on proper treatment procedures
- A positive attitude and a propensity for leadership and team-building with the ability to problem-solve under pressure
