High-growth Global Energy company now seeking an Senior Accountant, External Reporting to join their high caliber team headquartered in Manhattan - New York City.

Compensation : $90000 - $115000

Job Function:

  • Preparation of quarterly and annual SEC reporting documents and disclosures
  • Preparation of statutory financial statements and the identification and accounting for any differences between US GAAP and IFRS or local GAAP
  • Support capital raising and other significant transactions, including the preparation of pro formas and other financial disclosures
  • Develop and document processes and procedures in the consolidation and financial reporting function, including leading improvements to processes where warranted
  • Responsible for maintaining compliance with SOX requirements
  • Liaise with external auditors

Job Requirements:

  • BS or Master’s degree in Accounting; CPA strongly preferred
  • 2+ years of accounting experience, preferably with a Big 4 accounting firm
  • Experience within capital markets and accounting advisory specialty groups a plus
  • Comprehensive understanding of GAAP, financial reporting and internal control frameworks and requirements
  • Must possess excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills and bring a hands-on approach with the ability to prioritize and deliver results in a fast-moving environment with a wide variety of strategic initiatives and demanding deadlines
  • Experience with OneStream XF or Hyperion Financial Management is a plus
  • Driven, confident individual who is comfortable working independently while actively seeking guidance when necessary
